As many of you know, brett and I went to Utah last month to surprise My Mom on her 50th birthday! I know that this post is about a month late, but better late than never!!
We decided that we would be hiding in a box at the surprise party, so amelia and I picked this lovely refrigerator box up at Lowes the morning of the party. Although It May appear to you all that I am blonde and Amelia is Not, don't let her fool you... yes we both were sure that we would be able to fit the box in her jeep. we might be stupid but we are very innovative. but usually not that efficient. Right after I thought I was done tying the box to the roof of the car, the mexicans that we were parked next to (after sitting there the whole time watching us do it,) got out and untied everything and re did it, It kind of pissed me off, I thought I had done a Fantastic job!
So we got the box to the party and Jumped out and nearly sent my mother to an early grave!
The party was great and the food was great! thanks to everyone that helped!!

my special visitors
Last month we had two very special visitors!! Spencer
, my little brother and his friend Kade came out to stay with us and travel up to Akron to wrestle in the FILA national championships!! The boys got invited to go on a recruitment tour at Ohio State University. They met some of the big Ohio State champs including several olympic contenders, but even cooler than that, we got to literally drive the ford focus into the stadium and walk around, being the only four people in there!! And as if that wasn't enough excitement for the weekend, both boys place in Greco, Spencer taking first place and Kade taking Third.
This is a pic of spence wrestling taken with my cellphone, since we of course forgot our camera!!! CONGRATS NATIONAL CHAMP WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!!
