Attention all Foodies:

So here is the story... Brett and I have always loved eating out and trying different places and types of food. Since we moved to Columbus we have tried a lot of really great restaurants. The Doctor that I work for (Dr. T.) is a true food connoisseur, he is always telling us about really great restaurants, where to go and what to order. We have NEVER been disappointed!!!

We have had several people ask us for a list of restaurants that we love to go to in Columbus. SO...here is the list. Most of these restaurants are local except a few we like at the bottom of the list which are chain restaurants.

A lot of these restaurants have great deals during restaurant week. You can also get cheap gift certificates at the Student Union at OSU for a couple of them. We have been lucky that Dr. T. has given us some gift certificates to try these different places, especially the more expensive ones. Also, you will find that some of these prices are not much more than eating at (yucky)places like the Olive Garden or other chain restaurants. We often share plates at a lot of these restaurants because the portions can be quite large.

Here are the websites with menus/prices of some of our favorites:

Traditional Italian

Moretti's Sawmill
http://www.morettissawmill.com
What to order:
Love the Lasagna, House Salad, Chicken Parmigiana, Crumbled Sausage Pasta or appetizer (this is Brett's favorite), Chicken Moretti (very rich), Wild salmon salad... everything we have tried is good. All of their pasta is made in house... so good!! Portions are huge we usually get an appetized pasta and a main dish and still take home leftovers.
(don't go to the one in Upper Arlington, it is no where near as good)

They run specials on weekdays that are a GREAT DEAL

I know that all these restaurants are nice and fancy, but I am a little offended that Training Table's cheese fries and TGIF's Oreo Madness aren't on the list. Can those really be beat?
