The Brown's Newest addition

My parents Got a new Puppy this month! His name is Dakota, and he is a Golden doodle.

As many of you know, brett and I went to Utah last month to surprise My Mom on her 50th birthday! I know that this post is about a month late, but better late than never!! We decided that we would be hiding in a box at the surprise party, so amelia and I picked this lovely refrigerator box up at Lowes the morning of the party. Although It May appear to you all that I am blonde and Amelia is Not, don't let her fool you... yes we both were sure that we would be able to fit the box in her jeep. we might be stupid but we are very innovative. but usually not that efficient. Right after I thought I was done tying the box to the roof of the car, the mexicans that we were parked next to (after sitting there the whole time watching us do it,) got out and untied everything and re did it, It kind of pissed me off, I thought I had done a Fantastic job!
So we got the box to the party and Jumped out and nearly sent my mother to an early grave!
The party was great and the food was great! thanks to everyone that helped!!

So Glad to be home!!!

We had a great trip, but like my mom said "there's no place like home" I am finally fuzzy enough about being home after two weeks that I am finally motivated enough to post some pics for those of you at home that haven't, and may never get to see our cute little house in Columbus!!! We absolutely Love our little house, and we feel so blessed to have been able to able to buy our first home! Having a place you love to live, sure makes being away from home easier!!

Subway Hike

Brett and I are in Utah this week, spending some much needed time with family. On Thursday we went down to Southern Utah to Hike Subway. Here are some pics!! It was such a beautiul Hike. It was kind of tough, and I had to extend myself in ways that I never thought that I could!
The scenery was amazing, like nothing I have ever seen before!
The water was FREEZING cold!!! but I was brave and I had a wet suite. What a Fun Hike!!

Golf your heart out!

The boys went golfing at an all you can eat, all you can golf place this week. They golfed 36 holes and were exausted and sun burnt when they were done!!

Goldendoodle

This blog it primarily for my family's benifit. They are thinking about getting a Goldendoodle, and this is Lacy brett's brother in NJ's 1 year old goldendoodle. This picture was taken while we were at their house over Thanksgiving.

In Loving Memory

Last month our sweet Riley Passed away. He was such a sweet dog and he will be missed by our family so much. Riley was my best friend for most of my life. Brett would still even say that he came second only to Riley.

It has taken me this long to be able to post this, and now a month later I am typing with tears running down my cheeks. It was so hard not to be able to be there for him when he was so sick. Riley We love you. Farewell.
